Shang-Chi 2, Naruto, and now potentially Spider-Man 4? It sounds like Destin Daniel Cretton has a lot on his plate

It looks like Marvel has finally found a director for Spider-Man 4 in a familiar face – Shang-Chi’s Destin Daniel Cretton. There’s long been talk of a potential Spider-Man 4, including from the current incarnation of the character Tom Holland himself, but not much has been set in stone for it so far. That appears to be changing though, as The Hollywood Reporter shared yesterday that Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is currently in talks to direct Spider-Man 4. It doesn’t sound like things are 100% locked in quite yet, though this is the closest Marvel appears to have gotten with signing on a director – it was reported earlier this year that Fast & Furious director Justin Lin was being eyed-up for it, but that appears to have not worked out.To see this content please enable targe…

Is GTA 6 going to be delayed? A former Rockstar dev thinks we won't know until May 2025 at the earliest

There are constant questions over whether GTA 6 will be delayed, but one former Rockstar dev thinks any announcement of a delay won’t come until next year.Earlier this month, some rumours started to spread that GTA 6 had been delayed, but Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier (known for his strong reputation when it comes to insider information) says that that doesn’t seem to be the case after speaking with six employees at Rockstar – though he did also make it clear that these devs haven’t been informed of a delay, meaning one could still be coming, but right now it doesn’t seem to be happening. Of course, with all this talk of delays, it’s still on the minds of a lot of players eager to jump into what is probably the most anticipated sequel of the decade. To see this content please enable targeting …

After the terrible news of Microsoft deciding to shutter of a bunch of studios dropped back in May, we ended up getting a rare bit of positive 2024 games industry news, as PUBG publisher Krafton swooped in to buy the studio and the Hi-Fi Rush IP.Now, speaking to Game Developer about reasons behind the “last minute deal”, Krafton CEO Changhan ‘CH’ Kim has painted an interesting picture, suggesting that it wasn’t about trying to take on a series and studio the publisher was definitively sure could make it a nice profit, but rather adding more creativity to its portfolio so it’s better suited to try and hit home runs development-wise.To see this content please enable targeting cookies.Manage cookie settings “We wanted to maintain their legacy,” Kim said of acquiring Tango, “Although they did …

Epic is continuing its free games gamble with its mobile store, alongside a promise to have up to 50 apps available this "holiday season"

Epic Games is still working on its own mobile storefront, and whenever it does launch, it’ll be continuing its free games program there too.Since 2018, Fortnite developer Epic Games has run its own digital storefront for PC games, though there’s definitely been some bumps on the way. It arrived without some key features, including what you’d think are simple things like wishlisting, but it’s generally in a functional state these days. Over the years, though, in an effort to entice more players over to its side of the pond, Epic has been giving away a new free game every week, occasionally giving away some pretty big titles. And now, as reported by mobilegamer.biz, Epic looks to be trying that once more with its mobile storefront. To see this content please enable targeting cookies.Manage co…

A Baldur's Gate 3 fan spent a five-figure sum on an Astarion you-know-what doll, and all Larian has to say is "can I expense this?"

If you think you’re in love with Astarion, think again, as one Baldur’s Gate 3 fan apparently spent $20,000 on a sex doll.We all have wants, right? Maybe some of those wants are needs, even! So please try to refrain from judging the person that spent more money in one go than most of us could ever dream of on a sex doll of Astarion from Baldur’s Gate 3. Now, we’re jumping through a few quote tweets and screenshots to look at this doll (you can check it out below), but yes, it does in fact look quite a lot like Astarion – but notably, not exactly like him. The screenshot shows the review from whoever bought this doll, who did give it 4/5 stars, but took away a star because while they “gave them a 3D file” of Astarion, “before printing the head they made quite a few changes that I didn’t ask…

VariousThere are so many ways to be a Dungeons & Dragons fan these days. D&D and the Forgotten R…

It’s not typical for this console to receive any kind of discount, so we’re usually skeptical that there’s something amiss when one pops up, like an iffy warranty, or that it isn’t the U.S. version, which includes a different power adapter.
